Artist's notes:
"The painting "Garden Cellist" was an extraordinary experience for me. I was given the task of painting someone I'd never met, with limited references and I needed to create an imaginary setting at twilight. I had to pull a great many things together, and still make it a "believable scene". It is filled with symbols, representing many aspects of Maggie's personality and her life's passions.  I wanted to keep the symbols subtle so that it would be a magical scene with or without them. I feel the magic of a summer's eve when I look at the painting. It was an honor to create this painting. Never have a witnessed such love and devotion from a husband. Blessings to Bruce and Maggie Fenske on their 25th Wedding Anniversary!"
